Loveratri movie complaint was filed

Loveratri is an upcoming Bollywood musical, romantic, drama produced by Salman Khan Films and directed by debutante Abhiraj Minawala. The movie stars Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and newcomer Warina Hussain in lead roles. The film releases on 5 October 2018.

Salman Khan is known to have supported several newcomers including Sooraj Pancholi, Athiya Shetty, Elli Avram, Daisy Shah,  Zareen Khan and many more including singers and music directors. When it comes to the debut of his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma, sister Arpita Khan’s husband, we trust Bhai to go the extra mile.

The yet to be released film ‘Loveratri’ recently landed in a legal soup.

A complaint has been filed by an advocate against Salman Khan and others associated with the production of the film stating that the title is hurting the religious sentiments of the Hindu people.

A complaint filed was filed by an advocate in a Bihar Court on Thursday, against Salman Khan and others associated with his production ‘Loveratri’, stating that the title of the film hurts the Hindu sentiments by mocking the festival of Navaratri.

Development

Salman Khan announced the film in 2017. He also confirmed via Twitter that the film will star his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and will be directed by Abhiraj Minawala. Abhiraj was Ali Abbas Zafar’s assistant director who worked with him in Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. In February 2018, Salman announced that Warina will be the leading lady of the film. The film marks both Aayush and Warina’s Bollywood debut. Loveratri is a romantic drama set against the backdrop of Navratri in Gujarat. Aayush stars as a garba teacher from Baroda, who falls in love with an NRI, played by Warina, when she visits the town during the festival.

Production

The film’s schedule was split in two. A considerable part of the film was shot in Vadodara, Gujarat in the first part of the schedule in March 2018.This was followed by the second half stating in April 2018, in London UK. Ronit Roy and Ram Kapoor are also in pivotal roles of the film. Principal photography wrapped up in June 2018.

The standout hit song of the film; Chogala was shot featuring, London based, Strings, a renowned garba band as the backing band in the video. .

Soundtrack

Tanishk Bagchi, JAM8 (Kaushik-Akash-Guddu) and DJ Chetas-Lijo George will compose the soundtrack of the film. Udit Narayan, Palak Muchhal, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Atif Aslam, Badshah, Jubin Nautiyal, Darshan Raval and Asees Kaur will render their voice for the soundtrack of the film. Lyrics are written by Yo Yo Honey Singh, Shabbir Ahmed, Manoj Muntashir, Darshan Raval, Badshah, Niren Bhatt and Tanishk Bagchi.
